Born in 1965 in Minden (Westphalia) and raised in Porta Westfalica, I have been living with my wife and daughter in Paderborn for more than half of my life, where I studied industrial engineering. Thus an East-Westphalian by and by: Prussian-protestant brought up and catholic socialized.
My personality profile in the “Golden Personality Type Profiler of (GPTP)” gives me the ability to focus on a goal and avoid obstacles without distracting myself. As a visionary strategist I would be characterized by originality, the urge to gain insight and creativity. I am intellectually curious, quick to understand and have a wealth of ideas at my disposal to reflect on the basic principles of a complex system and to deal with problems. … and all this paired with – and you will probably be surprised by this self-absorbed enumeration – a great reluctance. Nevertheless, those who know me will recognize me in this description. Especially when it comes to restraint.
My consulting competence is based on many years of experience and sound knowledge. Over the past more than 25 years, I have accompanied DAX companies and SMEs as a strategy, organizational, and performance consultant in the development of strategies and in the organisational change processes that follow within the framework of strategy implementation, e. g. the professionalization of human resources management or the implementation of successful project and change management. As a business coach and trainer, I have also assisted executives – from junior managers to top management – in leadership and management development programmes within the framework of strategy implementation and in changing values and cultures. My clients value me as their consultant regardless of industry or management level.
But I can not only look back on extensive consulting experience, but also worked as a managing director and divisional manager in the management and steering of complex service organizations in the commercial consulting and education sector. Here, I was able to demonstrate my ability to implement strategies, implement organisational changes and take the employees with me from various consulting and management functions – proving that I am not a theoretician but a management professional with distinct leadership qualities, advanced management skills and a passion for knowledge transfer.
My leadership and consulting style is characterized by the models of transformational and serving leadership, systemic thinking and acting as well as agile working methods.
In response to my urge to gain insight, I attended courses such as Systemic Project Management Master Coach, Systemic Organizational Consultant, Profiles International®-, DiSC®/DiSG®, MBTI and GPTP/GPOP Consultant, accredited certifier for the tool family “The Behaviour Questionaire (TBQ)” as well as Outdoor and Adventure Trainer
In the course of my professional life, I was able to experience that my experiences and skills as a consultant and manager bore fruit. Several times, companies and projects managed by me have been awarded for high-calibre personnel and organisational development concepts and outstanding customer satisfaction in the execution of the contract.
Since 2000 I have also been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, FHDW Paderborn for leadership, project, change, and team management.
